So why should you come to GWA 2014 Pittsburgh? Besides the great food and
scenery?
You will get access to private gardens that very few visitors ever get to
see. Unique gardens that your readers would love to see through your eyes.
Public gardens that are known world wide for their innovative green
technologies and implementation.
Walk through a piece of architectural history at Fallingwater and Kentuck
Knob. There's even a piece of the Berlin Wall to see at Kentuck.
New speakers with something to say about increasing your bottom dollar.
And how to hang on to it too. Michael Madison, will be talking about
Intellectual Property law. Where can you talk to a lawyer and get all your
questions answered and a few more you hadn't thought of too.?
New things happening at the symposium this year. A hands-on Chanticleer
chair building workshop this year. Can't pack it up on the plane??? Plans
will be available too, as well as kits for making it.
_Kirk Ryan Brown_ (https://www.facebook.com/kirk.r.brown.50) is the
genius behind the Night of the Round Tables.
A post workshop by Mark Turner will help you turn your photography skills
from so so to WOW.
There's something new too this year to make your storytelling easier.
We've prepared a booklet with questions for you to ask while visiting the
different sites. Things that you would never think to ask. It will prepare you
for when we arrive at our different gardens. We did the work for you! Plus
you can get more information from the homeowners that will be on site.
Thanks to our sponsor Visit PIttsburgh, you will have hot hors d'oerves on
the Saturday cruise on the Three Rivers which I can always make a meal out
of so you won't starve. In fact, food is reasonably cheap except at the
high end places so that will keep the budget from busting.
The Westin Hotel and Convention Center has made the rooms exceptionally
reasonable, a departure from the past. Still on a tight budget, get a
roommate!
When the trade show ends, we have something to make the trip back to the
room a little easier. We have some decked out carts to take the swag
back. You can even share it with a buddy, the cart, not the swag.
Our committee's goal has been to make this the best symposium yet, taking
you places you could never imagine.
