If it's French I could probably help; I've been fluent since birth (well,
plus the development time as an infant to control my vocal chords and 
stuff).

I would guess this is the person:

   http://www.aliero.org/ruben/wiki/

His or her links (liens) seem to be horticultural in nature, so if 
it's a spammer, at least they're plant-minded.

The large gnu on the front page of their Web site (aliero.org) is 
the logo for the GNU (Gnu's Not Unix) project, and Web searches for that
domain and the name Ruben turn up a lot of free software projects.

Sounds like a horticulture-minded French computer geek.  I only hope
that it's a she!!!  ;)  I doubt it with a name like "Ruben Massy", 
though.  :(
