This could be what has happened. If so you unknowingly set a switch deep in the operating system to automatically downsize all images you send via email. You can read about the problem here:

When someone emails a digital photo to me at 300dpi with a size of 4x6

in jpg...why does it degrade to a lesser resolution when I email it along?

I don't save it or touch it, I just email it direct. My editor wants the photo

at 300dpi 4x6 size. How can I get it to him without it "changing" as it

goes "through" my computer?

Any help would be appreciated.
