Hi Lon,

   My guess is that he just went to http://lists.ibiblio.org/
   and selected gardenwriters because it looked interesting.  From
   there it takes you to a subscription page that doesn't make any
   mention of needing an invitation.

   Would it be possible to update the text there to mention that fact?
   Or configure Mailman to not list gardenwriters in the main list
   at the top-level Web page?
