Re: Reliable lawn-care stats?

If there are reliable statistics on US home herbicide use anywhere, they are 
almost certainly buried in here:

http://www.epa.gov/oppbead1/pestsales/

Search within the site under "lawn usage" and try other words and phrases. 
Lots of stuff comes up.

Note that the government groups herbicides under types of pesticides.  Where 
you go for water usage, I don't know, but Google got me this.
