Re: Perennials low-maintenance?

I have had no problems with black spot on KOs. Have white, yellow, blushing,
single red and double red. I lost Rainbow over one winter, but it was in a
container left outdoors. The yellow was in a container that I brought onto
my unheated but glassed in porch last winter and it came through fine. When
I had Rainbow, it bloomed more prolifically than anything I'd ever seen in
my life. Maybe it just exhausted itself.

Lady Elsie Mae is fantastic, and so is the red Home Run for its velvety
petals and stunning color and constant bloom.

BUT what's your experience with Easy Does It? After all the AARS hype about
a plant in a league by itself, nothing else could compare, etc., I just had
to have one. But the thing has already defoliated from black spot. Granted
we've had pretty much nonstop rain here since Christmas, and now Elle is
starting to show some signs of being infected, but still, I was surprised.
Flowers, however, were unbelievably gorgeous.
