Join us in Madison, WI

I'd like to invite GWL members/spouses to Madison, WI on June 29 to join GWA Region V members on a daylong tour of some wonderful gardens throughout the area. Registration deadline is this Friday, June 8 and can be done on the GWA website at gardenwriters.org.  The registration fee ($35 GWA members/spouses $45 non-members) includes lunch and entry to all gardens on the tour including Olbrich Botanical Garden, Allen Centennial Gardens and the University of Wisconsin West Madison Agricultural Research Station Trail and Demonstration Gardens. Many thanks to Ed Lyon for putting together an outstanding tour. I'm particularly excited at the opportunity to visit the 400-acre eco-friendly campus of Epic Systems, a medical software company whose landscape and gardens reflect its keen environmental conscience.

We'll have special guided tours at all the gardens and hear speakers, including Midwestern Plantsman Roy Diblik. Lunch will include a fun product-testing session. Product samples will be abundant--we'll all take away new plants and tools to try. And last, but certainly not least, there will be plenty of networking opportunities, great story ideas and photo ops.
