A few years ago, a groundhog dug a burrow right next to the foundation of a friend's house. The hole was concealed by a kayak that was stored leaning against the wall under a deck. To further conceal its activities (I guess) the d****d animal shoved all the results of the excavation into the kayak. Packed it full of dirt and gravel, end to end. We could hardly budge the boat to shovel it out. We nearly destroyed it in the process. But it survived, and the 'hog relocated after I filled the hole back in.
