Re: photo question
I'd find out what formats the mother prefers to work with and the daughter
prefers to have. Sometimes seeing a closeup of an item provides more
information -- even if you have the item in front of you.(I do this all the
time with plant and bug photos.) You could put it all in a google document
that allows shared access (or use another form of cloud storage), make a CD
(with pdfs), or even have Shutterfly or a similar service print a book or
booklet.
I think the most versatile format is cloud storage/access plus a printed
booklet/book as backup. Depending on how involved the client wants to be,
you can send the photos and text to Shutterfly or similar service and let
the client decide what format to order. The mother may even want a copy of
the book. I've heard of people who were downsizing or simplifying and found
it easy to part with (especially sentimental) items if they kept a
photographic record.
