A Stupid Question

I have a stupid question that if answered should come to me off list. For
ten years I have had this question and never asked anyone about it. Duh.
The problem is what to do with those paragraph symbols at the end of every
line of certain e-mail messages. When I want to copy the text to a
Microsoft Word file, those paragraph symbols or carriage returns come right
along. Is there a simple way to remove them instead of having to delete
each one, one at a time? Thanks.
Dumb Jeff
