making pots from newspaper

There is a small gadget which kind of resembles a darning 'egg' - if you
are old enough to remember this! Except the bottom is flat. West Coast
Seeds (http://www.westcoastseeds.com) has them, I believe....I think they
are called Potmakers. You use newspaper and somehow wind them around this
little wooden gizmo and out comes little pots. They can be planted right
into the ground, as they turn into compost. I'm sure there are also loads
of ways to make them without the gizmo, as well. But offhand, I don't know.
I'm sure if you went on to google you could just enter "making newspaper
pots" and you'd come up with a million hits.
