copyright statement from online database

Here's how one online database of articles deals with copyright. The 
statement at the end of every full text article in their system says:

Copyright of (title X) is the property of (owner Y) and its content may not 
be copied or emailed to multiple sites or posted to a listserv without the 
copyright holder's express written permission. However, users may print, 
download, or email articles for individual use.
