Re: copyright statement from online database
Hello,
People or listservs can state anything they want, however the Fair Use
exemption in the copyright law would still apply. Fair Use does not require
author permission.
It is the only way that freedom of speech and education can work.
Fair Use always applies regardless of what claims people make. Again: paper
does not refuse ink, and the same can be said of pixels.
It only makes sense.
