Re: copyrights


GWL: I've written some 30 books over the years and one thing and one thing
alone has allowed me to do original work and research and that's the "Fair
Use Doctrine." No matter what you heard from anybody else, Thomas is
absolutely right. It's still in use until such time as the Supreme Court
decides differently (and with the way things are going, that's quite
possible). But you cannot take 25 pages of somebody's work and use it in a
40 page book and you must acknowledge where you got the work, too. P.L.
