Melanie,
I think that you can't
afford NOT to have a web page. I use my web page as my link to the world,
and through it comes all manner of interesting, useful, and occasionally
profitable offers. Once you have a website, the real trick is to figure out how
to drive tons of traffic to it. There are a good number of tricks to doing just
this.
The other key, not to be
ignored, in my humble opinion, is to Google yourself, Melanie
Vassallo , and see how many "hits" (URL's...websites) you get....just did
this, and your name brings up 1,690 hits...better than most, certainly....but
you can certainly push that number up too....again, high numbers don't just
happen.
This advice would apply to all
writers I'd think. The more URLs you're on, the more action will just come to
you from the Internet. If your Google numbers get high enough, eventually people
searching can't help but to find you.
