Re: Web Page

Melanie,
I think that it's VERY important to have a web page, as well as an assortment of ways that people can get TO that page. (I advertise
on Gardenweb and the National Gardening page and these ads have a link to my webpage.) I have articles and photos on my
website so that people can get a sense of me and my writing. I also have a speaking schedule and the information about the topics I
lecture on. (www.gardenlady.com)

My biggest challange in the four years I've had the website is keeping it updated and fresh. I know that people check back to it, and
in the past I've heard from various people when I haven't renewed it in awhile. I did the design and updating myself, but not often
enough to be comfortable with the software - I'd have to relearn it every time I need to add something. This year I finially hired
someone to help me with it, and now when I have an addition, a new article or photos I can just email them to her and she gets it all
online in a couple of days. The changes she made in the key words bumped my postion on google searches from page 8 to page
3, so that was also valuable. Teri's help has been worth evey penny I've spent!

all the best,
C.L.
