Wouldn't it be neat if all schools, as part of their curriculum, had a
vegetable garden?
Imagine what those young folks would learn.
Imagine how the teachers can tie in just about every subject from the
obvious botany and biology, ecosystems, sustainability, math, history, etc.
etc. Lots of room for social sciences in there as well.
And how much would a teaching resource like cost the school board? Dirt
cheap, right.
