Hi, Everyone,

   I'm going to be speaking at the USBG in DC on April 14th at their
Lunchtime Lecture series...on allergy-free gardening, of course! Am also
going to be talking at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden on April 18th, giving two
talks there, one on prison gardening...or at least on my own experiences
teaching landscape/gardening at the CYA for 13 years. That same night I'm to
talk to the Manhattan Community Board # 11.
   My talk in DC is open to the public, they only charge 5 bucks for non
members...so please do help me spread the word on this...terribly
appreciated. The talks at the BBG are all booked up (for the public) but any
GWA people would always be welcome.
   To those kind folks who wrote and said they'd be happy to meet me for a
cup of coffee as I roam the east coast...from SC to NY....thanks so much.
  Am not taking my laptop on this month long driving trip of fishing and
botanizing...going to give the computer a much needed rest...but will have
my cell phone with me 805- 801-2140 (please don't post that number on any
public restroom walls!) so by all means anyone who just wants to
chat....please do give me a call.
  Am trying to get going...was planning to leave town yesterday morning but
didn't feel motivated enough to hit the road...but am leaving in a few
minutes...pouring rain outside..hope the east coast is dry and sunny. Cheers
