Re: Perennial Plant Meeting - BOSTON!

After 11 years of living in downtown (Back Bay) Boston, I can you that you want to be sure to be in the city on the Fourth. That evening, if you don't take the PPA cruise, follow the crowds and line up along the Charles River to watch the fireworks and listen to the Pops play for an hours or so (all free). Usually about a million people, they say. But it's well-mannered and lots of fun. Only one I've attended to equal it is in D.C., but I think Boston's celebration is friendlier and more enjoyable. I'm sure the cruise will be unforgettable too.
