Question about Insurance

Hey everyone,

Hasn't been much activity on the web lately...everyone must be out in their (or
someone else's) garden.:-)

Anyway, I lead a garden tour for the Master Gardener Society in my county in
Michigan. We have recently been told we will no longer be under the "umbrella" of our
state extension office starting July 1st. There are other possibilities that may
arise, but until they do we need separate insurance. Since many of you plan tours and
events (including those for GWA)...maybe someone can help...

We need to get some type of insurance to cover the few (about 3 a year) tours we do
and possibly other events for our county Master Gardener Society.

Could you reply to me (off list if this isn't GWA appropriate)...as to what insurance
to look for...a possible recommendation for an agent or company that you have
used...and/or general advice.

The bus company covers us while getting on and off the bus and while moving and
parking. We need to be covered for the rest of the time...while in the
gardens...hotel?...etc.

Hey, I'm also still looking for prizes for the trip if anyone would like to
contribute one or two...I'm not picky.and I would be eternally grateful...well, at
least grateful for a very long time.:-)

Thanks so much!
