Chinese cabage

Perhaps the only vegetables I like, other than the ones on a Big Mac, is Chinese cabbage. It is the only one I will eat as a snack, sliced across like a steak with Thousand Island dressing out of a bottle and maybe a chopped egg on top. Not this year. I have been to at least a dozen stores with large seed racks and not a Chinese cabbage in sight. Nowhere. Plenty of obscure vegetables, some inappropriate for my NE climate. Is there a problem this year with Chinese cabbage? Am I the only one who likes it?
