Hi, all you night birds!

The Kumato tomato showed up in our local grocery store (NW CT) about 3 years ago and it quickly became our "go to" winter tomato for all the reasons stated. When I'm in the store restocking, I always get into a discussion with some other shopper who is put off by its deep color. My enthusiastic endorsement usually results in their making a purchase -- I want to keep it around until I can reap our 4th of July bounty (earliest to crop), sometime in mid-July. YUM!!!
