Got photos and text. As a result, I now see the revised label referring customers to HD web page.
I went there and am revising my criticism of HD position on this new labeling. If all their treated plants include this label to refer customers to this web page instead of the original label that only indicates the plant has been treated with neonics, then I do think HD is performing an excellent service by increasing the buying public's awareness of neonic issue. Of course, they have to go to the page and if HD adds a QR code, that would make it a slam dunk (in the spirit of this weekend's activities!) so much easier. Maybe they'll do that.
This, coupled with the new intro this year of bacillus thuringiensis galleriae to treat beetle grubs and adults gives me hope that in my lifetime maybe we'll see an end to all these poisons in our lawns and landscapes.
