Re: Sansevieria/hemp plant


Since what most people think of as hemp is genus Cannabis, Sanseviera is not
THAT kind of hemp.  This is only speculation, but having had Sanseviera as a
houseplant, the leaves do have a lot of long, straight fibers in them, and
it seems conceivable that someone might use the fiber in the same fashion as
hemp.
