Sources

I'll explain why I asked about sources. I'm working on sources of a lot of
things - wire, posts, supplies to establish a vineyard, supplies for insect
control, and a lot of other things that I wouldn't have a way to know about
personally. Obviously, when you have to have sources of so many things,
there isn't a way to know which is the best place without a LOT of time and
research. Most writers only have a limited time for such things, so the
question is how do they do it? Just list a lot of sources and hope none are
lemons? The best I can do is call or e-mail and be sure the place is still
in business and prices are reasonably close to what is in their catalog.
I was curious as to how other writers handle such a situation.
