writing fees
Jeff is probably right that you're unlikely to get much of a raise - if
any. However, don't overlook the possibility of recycling those
articles for other publications. Just tweak them to suit the new
market. You also can take articles you write for others and restyle
them for your newspaper column. At least that way you get double or
triple cluck for your buck.
