Internet gone crazy?

Hi Chris -

I can give you a philosophical response and some sympathy.
Everything you put on the Internet is public. People can appreciate,
applaud, correct and find fault. Usually, they act with you the way they act
with anyone in their lives.

Your public persona gives them access to you. Stress is running pretty high
and the lack of money is making some people pretty grumpy.

You said, "The pervasive thanklessness and sense of entitlement for free
stuff shocks me."
Me, too.

Hopefully, you get enough intellectual and financial benefit from your
writing to continue despite a few unhappy interactions.

Maybe next week you will get enough hurrah responses to make up for this
week.
