Re: plant selection question

I've been travelling to other garden centers having received poor service
at my accustomed one and returned to find some comments from Dan Clost here
on this list.  Other folks suggested I would respond in an interesting
manner.  Let me simply say yes indeed, Mayo is a saint and it's my pleasure
to share a garden and life with her.  Doreen does indeed get the credit and
my gratitude.  As for Dan, it would be like shooting fish in a barrel to
respond, there are simply so many targets as to make choosing difficult.
Beside, any time I need to rein him in, I simply call Betty and while he'll
protest, he knows the truth of that.  I've often said that Dan is one of
the best woody-plant guys I know but sometimes the wood extends above his
shoulders. This has been one of them.

Now I have to go out to plant all the great trees I bought.
