Re: Aconitum (color sells)


We all keep banging our heads against that same wall: Too many people will 
only buy plants that are flowering. Never mind that it's not even in their best 
interest to do so; to buy most perennials in full bloom means that you've 
bought them at their peak, and you then get to preside over their decline. 
Market wisdom tends to argue that homeowners won't buy on faith, won't buy 
potential. But they will. It requires education. If you disagree, answer me 
this: How pretty is a tulip bulb?
