Re: Aconitum (color sells)

Margaret and Pat, color photos are wonderful but this is what I learned
behind the scenes. Those little photos on the plastic tags cost extra, they
come separately and it takes time for workers to put them in the pots
(hopefully the correct pots). Worst of all, many aren't attached permanently
to the pots' side and customers remove them and put them back in the wrong
spot.

Darwin Plants sells large laminated photos to back up their plants, I'm sure
other firms do the same. For a family run business, especially the ones
posting here that grow their own material, I would recommend taking their
own pictures. A laminating machine is not expensive, we have one for the
kids for fun and it's quite easy to use. I would simply print a copy of a
digital photo on regular paper and then laminate it. This is how I make my
business cards in a smaller form.
