Annuals must be outstanding and showy....the ones people ask, "What is 
that?"  A couple come to mind.  Silver Tidal Wave petunias did so well and 
were so spectacular in my front yard that we finally had to erect a large 
sign with the name and put it next to the plants.  I was tired of people 
knocking on the door to ask "What is that flower hedge?"  This year, the 
fantastic annual was 'Tiger Eye' rudbeckia hirta.  Same reaction from 
passers-by, and we put a sign, too!
