Re: Garden Thugs
Another vote for Aegopodium!
42 years ago when we moved into our "first home" near an old quarry, the
"soil" was rocks and more rocks. A dear friend said he would share some
plants that he could guarantee would grow. Young and naive we jumped at the
offer.
42 years later (not so young but still naive), we are in the same house
surrounded by Bishop's Weed. It is everywhere, resisting all attempts to
eradicate it. Sadly, our friend passed away about 30 years ago, and we
always feel a bit guilty when we battle "Don's gift." We figure he's up in
that big garden in the sky having a good chuckle.
However, I didn't know it was edible. Thank you, Ellen! Maybe a little farm
stand is in order?
