Mary Ann - no apology needed from me at least. :-)   I simply want to know
what's the advantage here and Lois' remarks about networking with editors
seemed to nail it nicely.  If those groups are out there, I can see why
you'd want to use LinkedIn.  And if you need recommendations to sell your
work (question that but...) then I can see that as well.   So the rush to
recommend is to pull other recommendations back to yourself ( I like you -
you like me) kind of activity.   I'll have to get back to you about this
but seeing it being done already lessens the impact.

JF - glad to know that not only do I lead in the tech-department, I'm
perfectly willing to lead in the damned-if-I-know dept as well. :-)

Nancy - "Canadian Guru"  LOL!

Tough enough to use and figure out that moving target that's called
Facebook. ;-)

And I see some of you are using Sulia - how's that working or not for
you?   For those that haven't heard of it - I just did the other day - it's
like a super-scraper of your social media posts as far as I can tell -
everything in one place kind of thing.  Is that accurate?
