Re: [GWL]: Newsy tidbits

I live in the mountains of Woodstock, New York and have a terrible time
with deer and other critters. I have an electric l0- wire fence surrounding
about 12 acres - and still from time to time the deer get in because
(usually) some branch has fallen on one of the wires, or weeds may have
grown up and touch the wires .

In my next book (a follow up to the now out-of-print "Suzanne's Garden
Secrets" will have a chapter on deer. I am aware that a list of plants
that deer will not eat varies greatly from one area to another so would be
very interested in knowing which plants in your area are particularly deer
proof.

And Jeff - do please let me now the result of your mini-electric fence.
