The book 'Heat-Zone Gardening' by Dr. H. Marc Cathey with Linda Bellamy 
(published by Time Life Books, 1998) has a plant encyclopedia at the back 
with both USDA cold and AHS heat hardiness ratings for each plant.  The book 
was written to introduce the heat zone concept to gardeners.  For the record, 
Marc Cathey got major credit for writing the book because he headed the heat 
zone project for AHS and because he is so well known and revered in the 
gardening community, but in fact Linda Bellamy was primary author.  As a 
writer, I resent in her behalf that she got such minor credit for her work.
