Is this then the only solution to anthrax in the mail? Smacks of "we had
to destroy the village to save it" philosophy. How about giant vacuums
pre-screening the mail? Terrorists will surely have won if Americans can't
plant gardens or live normal lives. Perhaps we ought to have services for
the death of common sense. The last count I heard was 9 people with
anthrax, most with treatable skin eruptions. I wonder how many people died
in car accidents in the past 24 hours? Margaret Lauterbach
