Re: APHIS admitting seeds without phyto?
Was one of your South American countries Argentina? When I
tried to mail capsicum seeds to a friend in Argentina, the post office said
that was not permitted.
All I formally tested was incoming mail, Margaret.
But in the past I've had the same problem, with both Argentina and Bolivia.
FWIW, here is the list of countries from which I recieved test mail. In each
case, delivery was 6-9 days, and not one of the envelopes was opened:
Chile, England, Germany, Switzerland, Finland, Ireland, the Netherlands,
China, Brazil, Crete, and Sweden.
I would have liked to test seeds coming from Columbia, in particular, but
didn't have a contact there. And I would be interested in seeing more tests
from the Pacific Rim.
