I was shocked to learn how hard it was to find projector bulbs this
summer.  Kodak Canada didn't stock them and referred me to an obscure
repair shop in Ontario for them.  If you plan to use your projector for
a few years yet, you may want to stock up on spares. 

I agree with the comments about the richness of slides versus digital
presentations.  One of the interesting problems that I can see happening
in a few years is that people who have been taking images digitally are
going to have to retake them as demands for better resolution increase
(as computing power increases).  Meanwhile all those who are still
taking slides will have merely to rescan them.
