Kodak projectors
I still think slide images still have a wow factor that PowerPoint doesn't
have. Digital is great at the high end, but most garden writers can't afford
the really high end cameras and projection systems that the pros use. I'm
currently taking a photo course and the instructor, a commercial
photographer, say his work on catalogues, advertising and for institutions
is all digital now. But he uses a large format pro digital camera that cost
thousands, as well as digital RSL.
I think that the slide projector could well be used by folks like ourselves
for another 15 to 20 years. Stock up on bulbs while you can.
Après us, the deluge...we will be too ancient to give talks anyway...
