Re: unusual holiday plants?


The secret to growing Rosemary indoors is keep it in a cold area and  
keep the soil moderately moist. That is totally contrary to the  
advice given in every herb book I have read. They always say let the  
soil dry before watering.  Guess what, a dry Rosemary is a dead  
Rosemary. To combat powdery mildew I give it a cold shower and power  
wash every two or three weeks in winter  My little Christmas tree  
Rosemary is now over 3 feet tall.
