[GWL]: gardens and flying

I am a tour operator as well as a garden writer and have flown back and forth from Europe many times.  My partner in England said this last week, after Tuesday's events:  "You Americans have long been lax in security.  You weren't safe but didn't know it.  Now you do.  You have never been so safe as you will be when you next get on a plane."
I am not afraid to fly. Leaving on Monday to take a group of travelers to France.  Visiting Giverny, Versailles, and a couple of good Lutyens gardens as well.  We will do all the things the President has asked of us, and more;  and we will get on with our lives as well.
As for good English garden events---has anyone ever visited the spring Malvern Garden Show?  Held at the base of the Malvern Hills, outdoors, it is a combination trade show, flower show, horticulture society show, and giant outdoor fair.  Worth the visit.  Penne Curmode
