My own research is quite informal - simply looking at the number of readers a certain title of my
article draws. And the ones that use words like Low Maintenance, Easy care, Almost-No
maintenance, etc. are very popular.

I've always thought of those readers as ones who garden only for curb appeal - or because the
neighbors do it. I often have visions of whole neighborhoods hurriedly planting so as not to look
out of place - not one household of which would plant anything except that the neighbors do. We
should be thankful for peer pressure ;-)
