The problem is the media might be diverse but most of what's read by the
average American is not! The major TV news networks feed out as much pap as
news and the minors, like Fox, are literally hate channels. On radio, Long
John and others of his ilk have been replaced by entertainers who call the
left mean and vindictive and preach about evolution and tell tales of black
helicopters run by the UN. This is all fairly new. Twenty-five to thirty
years ago, there were more in-depth magazines and columns, not less, more
news, not less, and more in-depth reporting. And, it's The New York Times,
