Re: GWA Meeting Critique

I know setting these things up takes a lot of work and everyone involved
deserves a big thank you. I just wish there was a way those of us with
smaller incomes could go. I think that was my main point.

Maybe GWA could offer two hotels (one cheap and one at the event) with
transportation between the two. I don't know how much more work that would
entail. It is just a suggestion.

I had a really bad experience in Chicago with the hotel. The bell boy
trashed my camera and my laptop. The hotel refused to pay for it. I got sick
during that week on top of it all which was really no one's fault.

I loved Don Fry but really wish we could have a "writing session" with him.
I went really hoping I could learn a lot, which I did, but not near what I
wanted.

It is hard to please everyone I know. I just wanted to see if there was a
way for those of us who cannot afford to attend to still be "in the know" by
receiving the info and/or samples even if we had to pay postage.

As for the list - I know Lon set it up because GWA would not. I don't know
about anyone else but the last few times I have posted (this time being an
exception) I have not received any response except from Doreen who said she
saw my post because I wondered if maybe no one was seeing them but me. :)
