Linda - 

I'm in the same boat as you, trying to ask about this GWA benefit and  
getting nowhere. Asking other insurance companies (that supposedly cater to  small 
businesses) about it and getting blank stares.

Can you summarize and share anything you may find out on this list?

acquiring media liability coverage. I'm a member of the Garden  Writers
Association and according to the website I can get such insurance  as a
member, but I have been routed and rerouted from the listed phone  numbers
and given the runaround and am unsure whether this benefit is  actually
available.
My questions for this list are:

Do many/most  people have such insurance? I am relatively new to the  writing
game.

If so, how much coverage do you buy, and about how  expensive is it?

I'm not sure how great the risk of being sued actually  is; both my husband
and I are lawyers and tend to be paranoid about this  sort of thing, perhaps
overly so.
