Re: GWA Awards presentations


OK, it's true that there's quite a number of Silver Award winners and
someone simply standing on stage and reading them out would not make for an
exciting presentation.

The problem is that the GWA's alternative is - nothing, don't announce them
at all. And that diminishes the award. Instead of saying "that's too many,
let's not do it" why don't they think "how can we honor these award
winners?" And the obvious answer is to create an audio visual presentation
that both engages the audience and honors the winners. Not so very
difficult, surely.
