GWA membership
Martha,
I have been a member for a few years now and it has been one of
the best investments I have ever made in my life. Betty is right about the
ever evolving changes in technology and keeping up with them. Whenever I do
a talk to a group and they hear that I am a member of GWA you can see them
perk up a bit, realizing that I am a professional and not just someone who
gardens as a hobby. Each symposium I attend, I learn something new, meet
dozens of new writers and photographers and have picked up writing
assignments. There is such an exchange of information between all of us that if I
never attended one of the seminars it would still be worth it. The regional
meetings have provided a lot of value as well so $85 a year is a bargain.
