Re: Is there a better way to transfer photos to Mac?


âThanks C.L. and Nan for the hints. Yes, it's old Canon software and an old
card (a year old; is that too old?). True, I shouldn't be storing my photos
on the card! I like having backups, but probably a flash drive makes more
sense. I also have other apps open, but nothing else is a resource hog the
way the card seems to be. It takes some time for the card to show up, and
yes, I have been dragging the files, because otherwise nothing happens (or
I haven't waited long enough to find out; iirc I was doing something else
once and 45 minutes later, nothing had happened).
