1)I use lots of mulch- it has a choking effect on weeds.
2)heavy plantings- dont give a lot of room for weeds to grow
3)rocks in thin areas
4)I have heard there is weed and feed for gardens- wont hurt the flowers
5)if you have large areas to kill-plastic and hot sunny day will do wonders. My
neighbor left his solar cover from his pool on the front lawn for a couple of
hours. His lawn was toast in a perfect circle!!!
