My friend in Michigan City, IN (zone 5B) is growing 'Aphrodite' in a clay pot
on her patio. It is a concrete patio (retains heat at night). The pot is
sitting in a saucer of water, which she fills daily - and she keeps saying "I
would never do this to the roots of any other plant".
It opened it's first perfect blooms on Saturday.
